Learn the Truth.
The Making of Black Angels is a movement to increase awareness about the challenges that Black entrepreneurs face in accessing capital. We are working to help more people understand how the world of angel investing works and the role that angel investing plays in creating a pathway to venture funding.
Fact: Of the $147 billion in venture capital invested in startups during the first half of 2021, just 1.2 percent went to black founders, according to Crunchbase News.
By increasing diversity, inclusion, and participation in the angel investing community, Making of Black Angels aims to increase access to startup funds for black-owned businesses.
