Commit To Making a Difference
The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL), founded in 2002, is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to build a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our mission is to eradicate the systemic barriers that prevent people from historically excluded populations from accessing the knowledge, networks, and capital required for entrepreneurial success and
wealth creation. We work with corporate, institutional, higher education, and community partners to develop and implement innovative, inclusive, high-touch programming that promotes inclusion within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Our impact measurement centers on creating connections, changing mindsets, and inspiring action. IFEL serves nearly 2,800 small business owners, entrepreneurs, and founders annually through support from a community of over 1,500 business professionals and domain experts. Volunteers play a vital role in our ability to provide access to knowledge, capital, and networks necessary to help business owners to grow and succeed. We offer a number of volunteer opportunities where your everyday skills will make a powerful impact on a business owner.
We feature a simple sign-up process and we offer opportunities lasting as little as two hours. All volunteers work virtually via computer conferencing.
